Caregiver Appreciation Committee

The Caregiver Appreciation program is designed to recognize the efforts of volunteer caregivers in our community, including family members, friends, and volunteers in LTC homes. The committee is comprised of volunteers who promote and manage the program, and evaluate nominations for the Caregiver of the Year award.

Comforts of Home Committee

The Comforts of Home Committee is comprised of a group of volunteers who participate in various events at local not-for-profit LTC homes in the region.

Setting the Path to Prosperity Fundraising Committee

Setting the Path to Prosperity fundraiser is The Prosperity Fund’s annual fundraising event. Hundreds of people attend this event and help raise substantial amounts of financial support for the Fund. The Setting the Path to Prosperity fundraising committee is comprised of a group of volunteers who organize this special event.

Students for Seniors Committee

The Students for Seniors program is comprised of a group of volunteers who coordinate the placement of high school volunteers in local not-for-profit LTC homes. The committee is responsible for increasing the profile of the program in the community and to expand the program to every high school in Ottawa.
