Ottawa owned and operated Family Physiotherapy Centre's Forever Young Physiotherapy and Fitness Program has been specifically designed for seniors who continue to live an independent lifestyle or who are residing in a Retirement or Long Term Care Home.
The creation of this program was based on the culmination of 10 years of our hands on practical experience in working with seniors and constructive feedback from a variety of Retirement and LTC Administrators and Directors of Care.
The very fabric of this Program is a reflection of what seniors want and need in terms of Physiotherapy and Fitness programming that touches their daily lives. The Forever Young Physio and Fitness Program focuses on Fall Prevention and cardio vascular exercises that are part of a well defined Care Plan with the benefits thereof being consistently monitored and measured via Outcome Measures.
Independent living seniors can also access our services by participating in our Forever Young Exercise Classes which are held at various locations throughout the National Capital Region including most of our Wellness Centres.
Family Physiotherapy Centre currently delivers service to 6000+ seniors and also own and operate 6 state of the art Wellness Centres throughout the City of Ottawa and currently employs 100+ employees. As well, Family Physio owns and operates Ottawa's premiere destination for fitness namely the Family Physio Sport Conditioning Centre on Thurston Dr.
