Orleans Yoga Shala, a premier yoga company, held its 1st annual Charity Boomer Yoga Event on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011. The Prosperity Fund would like to thank Derek and Angela Kendrick, as well as Mireille Gauvin for hosting and organizing this successful and fun first event. Over $200 was raised for The Prosperity Fund.

We will also explore the reasons and the incidents of risk, and what to do about it. Many seniors face significant challenges once the time comes when they require assistance with daily activities of living due to aging, sickness or frailty. Often, this happens suddenly and many seniors are left questioning on how and who will care for them.

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Ottawa Society selected The Prosperity Long-Term Care Fund to be its charity of choice for the the proceeds of its annual golf tournament, which was held on Friday, June 26th, 2009. All proceeds of the event were donated to The Prosperity Fund.

Foundation Restaurant in the Byward Market

On Wednesday, February 25, 2009, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Foundation Restaurant in the Byward Market, approximately 250 people celebrated the creation of The Prosperity Long-Term Care Fund. The official launch entitled "Setting the Path to Prosperity" raised over $20,000 for our cause. A variety of pictures from the event will be added to this website shortly.
