Welcome to The Prosperity Fund

Helping Seniors in Our Community. The Prosperity™ Long-Term Care Fund is a new charity that was established in the Spring of 2008 by Adam C. Nihmey in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Prosperity™ Fund is an endowed donor-advised fund administered by the Community Foundation of Ottawa (www.cfo-fco.ca). Through personal and corporate donations, fundraising initiatives and other programs, The Prosperity Fund will improve the quality of care of residents in the region's not-for-profit long-term care homes through annual cash distributions. Distributions will be made to beneficiaries as approved by The Prosperity Fund's Advisory Council.

Charles Shaker and Providence Wealth Corporation announced a significant donation of $100,000 over 5 years to the Prosperity® Long-Term Care Fund at a special fundraiser held tonight at The Social Restaurant in the Byward Market.

Charles Shaker, President of Providence Wealth Corporation, made a special presentation to The Prosperity Fund's Founder, Adam Nihmey, in front of approximately 50 guests at the intimate, by-invitation only fundraiser. With this donation, The Prosperity Fund has raised a total of $250,000 in only two years.

WE RAISED OVER $17,000!

The Prosperity Fund's annual fundraising soiree "Setting the Path to Prosperity", held on February 25, 2010, raised over $17,000 for our cause.

Special thanks to all of our supporters of the event, including all of the attendees and our corporate sponsors.

We also want to congratulate Angela Bianco, this year's recipient of the 2009 Caregiver Appreciation Award. Congratulations Angela!
